Enlisting in the Coast Guard in 2009 Browde has seen the struggles that come with military service. After several losses to members he served with he began seeking an outlet. This outlet was the off-road community. When sharing stories, experiences, and laughs he sought out to find a way to bring more veterans, active duty, and first responders to this world. Through this accepting community we look to share struggles, laughs, and certainly victories together. On this concept Raptors and Rifles was founded.
Nicole has been by Browde's side since 2013 through the ups and downs she's experienced the struggles and burdens the military puts on not only the member but their families. Our goal is to bring not only the members but their families and she's here to welcome and share the other side of the story with those spouses. On top of that she's a registered nurse and offers on scene medical at all our events.
Kenny hopped on board immediately after the idea was pitched. After serving in the Army through Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom he found the off-road community as his outlet. He is one of the few that started with the iconic Gen 1 Raptor. Through his involvement in the community he has brought countless veterans into the off-road world to share the experiences and coping it provides.
September has been along for the off-road and military life with Kenny. She provides the organization with all the required behind the scenes planning, organizing and financial planning. Her experience in the corporate world, along with the vast knowledge of military and off-road life makes her invaluable to the organization. Plus her upbeat personality is sure to provide a smile and laugh throughout our experiences.
Ryan is a cowboy at heart, but more importantly a true patriot. Following the loss of his brother, a veteran, he turned to the off-road community to connect with veterans and to cope with the tragic loss. Now he aims to make these events as large as possible in an effort to help as many others as he can.
Rylan turned to raptors and rifles as he was drawn to the growing presence on social media. He reached out to us and hit the ground running. As Rylan is not a veteran himself, he has multiple family members that have served. He strives to use this platform to create and be a part of something bigger than himself by giving back to veterans and the community.
Tara, an Air Force Veteran, has been off-roading and adventuring her entire life. She wanted to become part of this cause to share her passion and reconnect with veterans. Joining the Raptor community was a huge part of emerging from her COVID depression where she found a new family along the way. Plus she provides entertainment value by constantly breaking things on her truck.
